Ask a Homeschooler

Hi, I’m a homeschooling parent.  As someone who made the choice to keep my kids at home with me, take responsibility for their education, and surround myself with other people’s kids as well, I get all kinds of funny questions and all kinds of not-so-funny questions.  Lots of people think people like me are strange/crazy/brave/religious/experts on everything/lonely, some combination of those things, or all kinds of other things. In this weekly series, I’m going to debunk some of these myths by answering frequently asked questions.  Feel free to comment with new questions I can use for future posts!
